Initiative
Kevin Kelley, founder of the hospitality group Kevin Kelley Concepts, established Kevin Kelley Scholarships to assist college students on their educational journey. This year, 11 students will each receive a $2,500 scholarship to help offset the cost of college—applicable to everything from purchasing textbooks to outfitting dorm rooms. Understanding the financial challenges students often face, Kevin is committed to giving back and providing support where it’s needed most. The scholarships aim to ensure that students can begin their college careers with less worry and more focus on achieving their academic goals.
Criteria
- Proof of enrollment (fee receipt for current semester or equivalent documentation).
- Proof that student is in good standing with their school (transcript or supported documentation).
- Submit an essay explaining the importance of kindness, how you've displayed kindness in the service of others, and your willingness to support others in the future, if awarded the scholarship.
- Photograph; students should use discretion when selecting their photograph (poses, attire, background, etc.).
- If selected for this scholarship, recipients agree to have their name, photograph and school displayed on Kevin Kelley Concepts’ official websites and potentially digital publications.
- Unless you submit all materials, your application will be considered incomplete and will not be reviewed by the Scholarship Committee. Please submit all documents via the application form or to [email protected].
Starting College Strong with Support
Kevin Kelley is pleased to support students through his scholarship fund, offering scholarships to help ease the financial burden of moving onto campus. These scholarships assist with expenses such as books, supplies, and dorm essentials, providing crucial support for students and their families. Understanding the challenges of starting college, Mr. Kelley aims to give back and ensure students have the necessary support to succeed. This initiative is about more than just financial aid—it’s about helping students begin their college journeys with confidence and optimism for the future.
